Neglected, disused, derelict architectures, abandoned buildings and empty spaces are the subjects of exploration of Norwich-based photographer James Kerwin.
“Decadence” and “Neglected” are the two series of shootings taken visiting location across Europe, Italy, Poland, France and Belgium in the last few years. See the studied eye of the artist in some of them.
“The best thing about it is the peacefulness,” he says. “Once inside a building, there is no noise, no people shopping or shouting or playing with their mobile phones; it is tranquil.”
