Dubbed “The Madness of Ceauşescu”, Transfagarasan is the steepest street in Romania reaching the maximum altitude of 2145 meters on Passo Urdele in Parang Mountains and is 90 kilometers long. Built between 1970 and 1974 for military purposes, it connect the cities of Pitesti and Arpasu de Jos twisting and turning on elevation changes.

St. Gotthard Pass is one of the most important Alpine passes. Located at 2,108 meters in the central part of the Alps, linking north to south the valley of the River Reuss and Leventina valley in Switzerland.

Iroha-Zaka, Japan is a winding path that connects the towns of Nikko and Oku-Nikko. The road has 48 curves and at each corner is placed a letter of the ancient Japanese alphabet.

Tianmen Mountain Road, China .This road is a prodigious succession of well 99 turns that for 11km climbs on Tianmen Mountain, in northwestern Hunan.

The Guoliang Tunnel Road in China. It is dug along the walls of the Taihang Mountains in Henan Province, China. The road was built by 13 local villagers in just 5 years. This path has been dubbed “the road that does not tolerate mistakes,” and is a key destination on the Chinese tourism map.

Taroko Gorge – Taiwan Taroko that in a Taiwanese dialect means magnificent and beautiful is a road that winds through dozens of kilometers of rock in a canyon along nearly 20 kilometers inside the Taroko National Park in Taichung City, Nantou County in the north of the Island .

OCEANIA

The Great Ocean Road, Australia is one of the most iconic streets of Australia: running fast with breathtaking views along the southeast coast of Australia joining the towns of Torquay and Allansford. Along its route of about 240 km you will see national parks, rainforests, beaches, just above one of the most beautiful reefs in the world: the 12 apostles.

Overseas Highway, Florida Dubbed the Keys Scenic Highway, this road on the water was before an elevated railway line that now connects Miami and Key West. The Seven Mile Bridge is a bridge 10,931 meters long, about seven miles starred in some movies like Mission Impossible 3, 2 Fast 2 Furious and traverse a long stretch of sea in a few minutes.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a road that runs along the Blue Ridge of the Appalachian mountains for over 700 km along Virginia and North Carolina. The route is particularly scenic during fall foliage when the trees around are colored with a thousand red, yellow and orange.

Denali Highway in Alaska. Only partially paved is closed to traffic from October until mid-May, and colleague Paxson to Cantwell through the Denali National Park. Dades Gorge, Morocco is the road that reaches the homonymous valley, in a spectacular gorge carved along the Atlas Mountains about 200 kilometers east of Marrakech.

Chapman’s Peak Road, Cape Town, South Africa: It ‘a winding road overlooking the sea which is only 24 km from Cape Town, South Africa. Connecting Noordhoek to Hout Bay, the total length of the route is about 9 km, during which we come across a total of 114 curves that in some places even reach 593 meters above sea level.
